Updated: 2026-10-07 · MarketRadar Whale
Whale moves are useful information but not a certain forecast. Meaning depends on context.
Deposit to an exchange
Often for selling or trading, but sometimes only an internal transfer.
Withdrawal from an exchange
Sometimes a sign of long-term holding; not every withdrawal is a buy.
A futures position opening
You can see its direction. Several whales on the same side is stronger, but some may hold the opposite side as a hedge.
A simple rule
Never rely on one whale, one move or one hour.
