This is the most important thing on the page. SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk in 2002, has never held an IPO. Its shares are private, traded occasionally between existing holders and employees at valuations set in funding rounds rather than by a market.
So a tokenized SPCX is not a share of SpaceX in the sense a tokenized Apple share is a share of Apple. It tracks a valuation derived from private-market activity, and there is no public order book, no quarterly report and no regulator-audited financial statement behind it. Anyone buying should understand they are buying exposure to a price estimate, not ownership of the company.
Because Starlink and the launch business are among the few large private companies whose economics are widely discussed but not investable through normal channels. That scarcity is exactly why the tokenized version exists — and exactly why its price can drift from any defensible valuation.
